The Oriental Art Department offers an important exhibition of Asian high antiques artifacts including statuettes, vases, paintings of Buddhist sacred art, personal objects for use and furnishings. The typological variety of our objects also corresponds to a local variety of production: the origins of our objects, indeed, are attributable to different manufactures of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, from Nepal to India, from Tibet to Persia.
The choice of these objects takes place through a targeted selective research in order to respond to the collecting needs of an increasingly demanding public. In this sense, the top lots of our house, a Buddha Sakyamuni with Vajra in lost wax gilded bronze with a current offer at the present of 29,000 euros and a Chinese vase from the Ming dynasty represent our excellences.
Our auctions in the oriental art section are held every two months and boast expertise in the practical exercise of expertise and sales, the results of which are offered in our auction catalogs, edited by our highly specialized staff.
