Auro Cornelio Celso (25 A.C - 50 D.C.) was the most important surgeon of the first imperial age, so much so that the Roman Hippocrates or the Cicero of Medicine was considered. Of his numerous works mentioned by his biographers remains perfectly complete only the de medicine, which is composed of eight books to which the transcription of two short treaties follows: the De Medicina, of Serene Samonic and the De Ponderibus et mensuris, of Remnio do.
