Salvatore Bonajuto, born in Catania on 18/01/63, studied science and graduated in agricultural sciences in 1991. He showed artistic predisposition from a young age and studied painting with the master D'Inessa and ceramics. Since 2017 he has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Since 2018 he has held solo painting exhibitions in Palermo 2018 and Matera 2019, both capitals of culture. Other solo exhibitions in Catania 2020, Milan 2022, Taormina 2022, Genoa 2023, Vittoria 2024, Acireale 2025.

In 2024, he attended a sculpture course at ABA Catania. In 2025, he exhibited digital works in Cyprus and Dubai. One of his large-format paintings of Mount Etna is on display at the city's hospital. A sculpture depicting an Amazon was exhibited at the Bellomo Museum in Syracuse. His sculpture and painting studio is in Mascalucia, where he lives and offers tourist accommodation in the botanical park he created.
