Roberta Conigliaro, a sculptor from Syracuse, moved to Rome for university. She graduated in Psychology and worked for several years in the psychiatric field. At the same time, she began exploring sculpture. She began exhibiting in 2001, later deciding to dedicate herself exclusively to her art. She has exhibited both in Italy and abroad, participating in various fairs and competitions. For several years, she has been developing solo exhibition projects of her own devising, in which sculpture is combined with spoken word, specifically poetry. In 2011, after reading the poetry of Antonia Pozzi, she created an exhibition entirely dedicated to her, selecting several poems from which to draw inspiration for her works. This led to the exhibition "A Slender Trail of Silence," which was displayed in 2013 in Milan in the evocative setting of the Ancient Oratory of the Passion of Sant'Ambrogio.
