Our Lady of Good Counsel with Child, who tenderly rests his face against the Virgin's and wraps his arm around her neck. Mary wears a blue cloak, and both have large yellow ochre halos.

The canvas has a very open, irregular and uneven texture.

Painter of the second half of the 18th century, the composition and especially the face of the Madonna retain characteristics deriving from late sixteenth and seventeenth century models.

The Madonna's face shows a certain certainty of execution: the shape of the eyes, the shading on the nose, the mouth and the passages between light and shadow are synthetic, but deliberate.
