Alessandro Kokocinski was an Italian painter, sculptor and sculptor of Polish-Russian origins of the second half of the twentieth century. Born in Porto Recanati in 1948, he soon moved with his family to Argentina where he studied scenography at the school of Saulo Benavente. In the nineties, after several trips and exhibitions around Europe and Asia, he settled permanently in Italy where he founded the theater company "Kosa" and the Alessandro Kokocinski Foundation in Tuscania. In 2011 he exhibited at the Venice Biennale in the Italian Pavilion. His works arrive at the Art Gallery TodayMuseum & nbsp; in Beijing, at the Museo della Casadella Cultura in Buenos Aires, up to Palazzo Venezia in Rome and the Academieder Kunts in Berlin. 2015 is the great exhibition "Life and the mask: from Pulcinella to the Clown" at the Museum Foundation Rome. In 2017 his last exhibition is held at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. In his works he represents poverty, work and suffering more generally inserted in the circus scene with acrobats, dancers and clowns accompanied by horses, an environment so dear to the artist.
