George Lilanga was a painter and sculptor from Tanzania of the twentieth century. His works are characterized by fantastic figures and animals, almost dreamlike, with bright colors and sharp outlines, strongly dynamic, and caricatured. The materials he uses to make his works are mainly recycled materials, such as masonite and hardboard, and acrylic colors. Lilanga attended the artistic environment of the Tingatinga school and exhibited in Africa, Europe, the USA, India and Japan. & Nbsp;
