Matteo Olivero

Olivero was a painter and sculptor among the major exponents of divisionism between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century. Originally from Pratorotondo, he moved to Turin to study at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts. He was devoted to social themes, in particular the marginalized, and to the emotional dimension of the landscape.
