Rosario Mazzella is a Neapolitan painter active nationally and one of the leading personalities in the & nbsp; Neapolitan avant-gardes from the 1960s. He is attentive to the social and cultural issues that mark contemporary society and uses different techniques typical of the Informal era, as shown by this work where he uses a hessian cloth as a support. He taught painting at the Filippo Palizzi art institute in Naples. The work is signed lower left and titled on the back. Authentication on photography. Work exhibited and published in the catalog of the exhibition "Rosario Mazzella - The reinterpretation of the Borgias" held at the Campano museum in Capua in May 2006.
