Venetian painter of the XVIIth century (attribuited to Antonio Bellucci, Pieve di Soligo, 1654 – Pieve di Soligo, 1726)
Antonio Bellucci was an Italian painter and decorator, he participated in the rococo movement with a hint of classicism.
The experiences of the young Bellucci were Venetian training and Bolognese paintings.
He was also a very interesting painter for his contribution to the diffusion of Venetian painting in Australia and England.
His first works in Austria are 4 paintings for the altars in the Monastery of Klosterneuburg, commissioned by the Emperor himself.
From 1716 to 1722 the painter stayed in London where he created several pieces.
